16. Alliteration :]

Definition: The repetition of consonant sounds in words that are near each other.

Example:

"The sun was shining on the sea,
Shining with all his might:
He did his very best to make
The billows smooth and bright-
And this was odd, because it was
The middle of the night."
-"The Walrus and the Carpenter"

Significance:
Alliteration is an important part of a poem. It can be seen as tongue twisters for kids to learn a certain group of difficult letters.
